Hands-On Technical Leadership
Fractional CTO for founders who need to ship.
I turn your idea, stalled prototype, or agency-built MVP into a production-ready product — then own technical delivery with you every week.
Starting at $5k/month · Rescue Sprint $2,500 · Maximum 3 clients

Where products stall
“You have an idea but no technical cofounder.”
“Your agency shipped code, but nobody owns the technology.”
“Your prototype works, but it is not ready for customers.”
“Development is moving, but you cannot tell whether it is moving in the right direction.”
“You need senior technical leadership without a full-time CTO hire.”
None of these are engineering problems. They are ownership problems — nobody senior is accountable for the technology. That is the job I take.
/what-i-own
Strategy and execution. One owner.
A slide deck doesn't ship your product. Neither does a team without direction. You get both halves from the same accountable person.
Product scoping
Cut to the version customers can actually use. Kill scope that doesn't earn its complexity.
Architecture
Boring, proven choices that survive real customers — and your next pivot.
Hands-on delivery
I build. POCs, MVPs, and the hard parts your team is stuck on.
Hiring & vendors
Interview developers, manage contractors, review the agency's work — before you pay for it.
Release quality
Code review, testing gates, and a definition of done that means done.
Production readiness
Deployment, security baseline, observability, and documentation.
Weekly communication
One founder/CTO meeting, straight status: what shipped, what's next, what's at risk.
/how-it-works
The first 90 days
Week 1 — Understand
The business, the product, the code, the constraints. I read everything, talk to whoever builds today, and map where the risk actually is.
Weeks 2–4 — Roadmap + first outcome
We agree the 90-day roadmap and ship the first meaningful thing — a rescued release, a working vertical slice, a fixed delivery process.
Months 2–3 — Deliver and stabilize
Ship against the roadmap, stabilize what exists, measure what matters, and prepare the next stage — scale, funding, or a full-time hire.
Every product starts from a different place. The sequence holds; the timeline flexes with your scope and what already exists.
/engagements
Two ways to start
Technical Rescue Sprint
$2,500
One focused week, fixed price
A week inside your product and codebase. You get clarity on where you stand and a plan you can execute — with or without me.
- +Product and codebase assessment
- +Identification of technical and delivery blockers
- +Architecture review and prioritized 90-day execution plan
- +A working improvement or vertical slice when feasible
- +Credited in full toward your first month if we continue
Fractional CTO
From $5,000/month
3-month initial engagement
Ongoing technical ownership. For companies that need their product shipped and their technology accountable — every week, not once.
- +Weekly founder/CTO meeting
- +Product and technical roadmap ownership
- +Hands-on POC and MVP delivery
- +Architecture and infrastructure decisions
- +Management and review of developers, contractors, and AI agents
- +Production readiness: deployment, security baseline, observability, documentation
- +Defined reserved capacity and response times
- +Maximum 3 concurrent clients
$5,000/month is the starting point, covering technical leadership plus defined reserved implementation capacity. Larger build scope, urgency, or more reserved capacity increases the price — agreed explicitly before the engagement starts, never as a surprise.
/fit
This works when
A good fit
- +You have budget and the authority to decide.
- +You want to ship within weeks, not endlessly plan.
- +You accept pragmatic scope control — smallest version that proves the value.
- +You need one accountable technical owner, not another opinion.
Not a fit
- ×Equity-only arrangements.
- ×Unlimited development for a fixed retainer.
- ×Projects without an available founder or decision-maker.
- ×Teams looking for staff augmentation only.
- ×Illegal, deceptive, or exploitative products.
/why-me
Why Vincent
I'm a former startup studio CTO and founder-operator with one exit, and a Master's degree in Computer Science and Project Management. I've spent my career building SaaS products, AI systems, marketplaces, and developer tooling — as the person responsible for both the decisions and the delivery.
I work AI-native: agents handle volume work under my direction, inside plans, reviews, and verification gates I own. That's how a fractional engagement ships at the pace founders expect from a full team — and why accountability never leaves me, no matter who or what helps execute.
The proof is on this site: the products we run, the open-source skills library, and the tools suite are all built with the same delivery system you'd be hiring.

Questions founders ask
What does a fractional CTO do?
Everything a full-time CTO does, on a part-time engagement: product scoping, architecture, technical hiring and vendor management, delivery quality, infrastructure, and security. The difference with me is that I also build. You get technical leadership and hands-on implementation from the same accountable person, without the full-time salary.
Do you personally write code?
Yes. I architect, build, and review — with AI agents doing much of the volume work under my direction. Every plan, every line that ships, and every release passes through my review. Agents and specialists help execute; accountability stays with me.
Is the complete MVP included in the monthly fee?
Not automatically. $5,000/month is the starting point and covers technical leadership plus a defined amount of reserved implementation capacity. If your MVP needs more building than that capacity covers, we price the difference explicitly before work starts — based on scope, urgency, and how much of my capacity you reserve. You will never get a surprise invoice.
How much time do I receive?
Each engagement defines reserved weekly capacity and response times in writing before we start. Every client gets a weekly founder/CTO meeting. I take a maximum of three concurrent clients, so the reserved capacity is real, not theoretical.
Can you manage my existing developers or agency?
Yes — this is often the fastest win. I review their output, set priorities and quality gates, and make sure what they ship actually moves your product forward. Your team keeps building; you finally know whether it's building the right things.
What happens after three months?
Three options: continue month-to-month at the same cadence, scale down to a lighter advisory arrangement, or hand off cleanly. If you hire a full-time CTO, I help you interview them and hand over documented architecture, infrastructure, and a working delivery process.
Do you accept equity?
Not instead of fees. Engagements are cash-based. Equity can occasionally be part of a package on top of fees, decided case by case — but equity-only arrangements are a hard no.
Who owns the code and intellectual property?
You do, from day one. Code lives in your repositories, infrastructure runs in your accounts, and everything produced during the engagement is your property. If we part ways, you lose nothing.
